Southampton based Custom Covers is looking forward to a healthy future following a management buyout. The Bitterne Company employs 47 people and works primarily in the field of marquees for the leisure industry. It has been bought by managing director Simon Bell and Robert Sanders whose father, David Sanders, bought the company in 1984. As part of the deal Robert Sanders steps up from non-executive director to become a full board member and Simon continues in his role as managing Director with David Sanders now chairman of the company.
