Design
Mechanised welding often uses robots to increase production line efficiency. These robots are subject to spark damage to the hoses and cables supplying the welding head and Custom Covers were involved in designing a set of simple covers to protect them, increasing productivity.
Selection of material was a key task as the weld sparks and splatter can be very aggressive to a textile. After various trial a specially treated canvas was selected and a cover designed to fit.. |
