Yesterday we made a presentation to Tim Golding on the occasion of his retirement. Tim has been leading our technical department for just under 20 years. During his time at Custom Covers Tim used his experience as a trained Sailmaker to aid in the development of some of our most popular PVC products. As well as playing a vital part of some large industrial projects including; the Antarctic survey, Recovering Portsmouth Tennis Center and the save Venice initiative, he also helped manage the transition of the technical department from manual drawings to our current fully computerised design and cutting facility.
