The leaves are falling from the trees and the days are getting shorter, meaning the 2018 season is coming to a close. We thought it would be the perfect time to catch up on some of our highlights from the last couple of months with our Autumn Newsletter.

Papal Structure

You may have already seen our covers for the Queen in the past, and in August we had the opportunity to make covers for the Pope. For the World Meeting of Families in Ireland, we designed and manufactured bespoke covers for two large scaffolding structures, one standing at 60m wide and the other at 21m wide nested within it.

Field and Lawn

We were approached by Field and Lawn in September to manufacture 25m clear roof panels and clear gables for a refectory structure at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. The finished product does a great job of bringing the outside in, especially while the sun is shining.

The Army is here!

Another bespoke project we are working on is a suite of container conversions for the Army. Using a combination of our Coverspan Framework and a container supplied by the Army, we are able to create a portable and easily deployable headquarters shelter, complete with PVC covers in the Army’s signature green.

New Products

|
In September we helped manufacture and install our new hard walling system and improved insulated linings for a Rugby Union gym in Wales. The walling provided a solid perimeter and added security around the marquee, with the insulated linings working to keep the temperature and sound under control within the structure. Both of these new products will be on display at our stand at the Showman’s Show.

Out and About with Custom Covers

Our ongoing series, ‘Out and about with Custom Covers’ features Custom Covers marquees we have spotted in the wild, at festivals, events or parties. Whilst at the Winchester flower festival, we saw a couple of Coverspan marquees, one 15m span structure serving as a market, and another 12m as a catering tent. Printing Highlights

Customers have been asking us to do a lot more printing on PVC recently, here are some of our recent jobs. There is a 15m themed gable for a Halloween attraction at Paulton's Park, a 10m orange gable complete with logo, and finally, a 15m black gable to promote Manchester United's partnership with a wine producer.
