The company manufactures for the marquee, events and industrial sectors.

Despite the pandemic the company has reorganised, re-planned and moved forward with its desire to be the country's leading suppliers to these sectors. 


Job Description

Working within an existing team to manufacture goods, utilising the existing hand and mechanised plant to a safe and efficient manner. On the job training will be provided as part of a continuous development process.

The movement of heavyweight fabrics is an essential part of the job, training will be provided to ensure this is carried out in a safe manner, including the use of the various items of equipment available to facilitate this. 

Working hours and times are dependent on the shift allocation

Day Shift: 

  • 0600hrs - 1400hrs (Monday to Thursday
  • 0600hrs - 1300hrs (Friday

Night Shift:   

  • 1500hrs - 0130hrs (Monday to Thursday)

Overtime and weekend working will be available during the busier periods, usually March through to July. 


The Requirements

  • Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and willing to adapt to existing manufacturing approaches and techniques
  • Self-motivated with a will to achieve the true potential of their ability
  • Previous experience in a similar environment will be an advantage but not essential
  • Previous experience with automatic machinery and hand tolls will be an advantage. 



  • Hourly rates are subject to experience and ability. Current average hourly payments for this post range from £9.00 to £21.00 per hour. 
  • If an employee is working the twilight shirt the basis hourly rate is enhanced by 33% per hour to cover the element of social and unsocial hours worked. 
  • On site job training will be given to all employees to ensure they reach the true potential of their ability. 
  • Government requirements for holidays entitlement are met but the company increases that entitlement based on years of service up to a maximum of 5 additional days. 
  • A Government approved stakeholders pension scheme if available to all employees. Company contributions start at the legal requirements and increase with length of service, the employee must match the company contribution to be eligible for the enhanced reward.



All shifts have a working supervisor as the first level of contact etc. who will then in turn, report to the senior supervisor / Manager.
