Can't get Business tax relief?

Struggling to get the Business Tax Relief you think you should be getting as an "Event Hire Co"

The Chancellor of the Exchequer has announced business rates relief that applies to those in the leisure and hospitality sector. 

If you are struggling to persuade your Local Authority that this applies to you if you are an "Event Hire Company" check out this YouTube clip of the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak responding to a question from Greg Smith MP for Buckingham about whether the Business rates discount applies to event hire companies. He is asked whether event hire companies are included in the envelope of leisure and hospitality. Rishi Sunak responds that if the event company has a premises they will be eligible for the relief.

Other News: If you missed it based on the Covid-19 situation we have closed Custom Covers for two months for all but essential work from close of business 25th March. 

What does this mean in practical terms?

We will keep a minimal on-site presence to handle enquiry and perform the core functions of our business. We will also maintain the production people onsite needed to manufacture essential work. The switchboard will be open and goods in and goods out for this will be maintained; we will also close Custom Covers Winchester Depot.
