As we approach the end of the year, we are pleased to share the latest updates, highlights, and achievements from Custom Covers. From standout customer installations to company updates, this Winter Newsletter brings together everything we’ve been working on over the past season.
Following the recent fire rebuild, we are pleased to share that our new manufacturing space is now fully operational. The upgraded facility features an extended workbench and two welding heads, allowing us to increase efficiency, improve workflow, and manage higher-volume orders with confidence.
Our team is fully equipped, fully capable, and committed to delivering the quality and reliability you expect!

As a Southampton-based business, supporting the local community is an important part of our ethos. We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of Sholing Football Club.
This includes the provision of a new Fan Zone Marquee, as well as sponsorship of the club’s goalkeeper, Charlie Searle. Although the marquee is one of our standard products, it offers a more versatile solution than those typically found at football grounds.
We were also delighted to have Matt Le Tissier, Southampton Football legend and Associate Director of Sholing FC present on the day, adding an extra highlight to the occasion.
Along with this new association with Sholing Football Club we have also joined with them to support Pinnacle AP. We donated 10 PC's to a new department they are setting up.
Pinnacle AP believe that every young person has the potential to succeed – regardless of the path they have taken. As an alternative provision for secondary school students, our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where learners can reconnect with education, rediscover their strengths, and build a brighter future.
We love seeing the creative ways our customers use our structures, and this one truly stood out! Coast and Country Marquees delivered a unique setup on Cowes Seafront during sailing week, showcasing the Tricone in a fresh new way. Typically, part of a larger configuration, this time the Tricone took centre stage all on its own.
Set within the picturesque surroundings of the old rectory estate, this 12m Clear Cone structure features full flooring with extrusion and boards. The clear PVC coverings create an elegant connection between the interior space and the natural landscape, with the surrounding foliage enhancing its visual impact.
We are pleased to confirm that we still have new hire stock available for the remainder of the season, including:
3m–25m pleated and flat linings
White and ivory lining options
Blackout and black starlight linings
These are ideal for winter weddings, corporate events, and seasonal celebrations.
Great to see our product in action at the Southampton Christmas Market, installed at one of the Alpine bars.
We’re always working on what’s next at Custom Covers, right now that includes an industrial variant inspired by our party tent range.

As part of the merger with Heytex, the VALMEX® 7216 5240 material has been transferred from the closed Fulda plant to the more modern Bramsche facility.
The new production process for VALMEX® 7216 5240 is based on the old Fulda knife coating line and its recipe.
MehlerHeytex® is looking forward to this new chapter and stands by all the materials they produce and supply.
