TREATMENT RECOMMENDATION
FOR MEMBRANE MATERIALS MADE OF PVC - COATED BASE FABRICS

Cleaning

Professional cleaning is recommended periodically to remove superficial contamination.

To achieve the best results a combination of mechanical and dry cleaning (detergent) is necessary.

The cleaning procedure should not damage the membrane itself nor should the use of the mechanical and chemical agents used.

1. Mechanical

 Brush Cleaning
 High Pressure Cleaning

2. Detergents

No detergents may be used which:
 a) contain organic solvents, and
 b) have a pH value beyond the neutral range (approx. pH 7)

Always use in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions regarding
 concentration and application methods.

3. Procedure

 a) Wash off the superficial dirt
 b) Apply the detergent in accordance with instructions
 c) Allow time to react
 d) Clean off carefully with brushes or high pressure apparatus
 e) Wash off dirt and detergent

4. Storage

When storing the items, the following points should be followed prior to storage of the PVC.

a) Clean thoroughly before storage
b) Dry the PVC well
c) Store in dry, sheltered and ventilated areas
d) Do not subject to heavy loads when folded
e) Do not drag the PVC over rough surfaces

The foregoing is a recommended procedure only.  It is the owner's responsibility to use and store their items properly and to use any cleaning agents in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, with particular regard to the safety of persons handling them.
